Birden

This is my senior thesis project that I am working on in a group of 5, with me being the sole artist. The game starts off with the player seeing how Presto the parrot leaves his nest as a baby bird not able fly/glide. Presto never learns how to fly, but learns how to glide and makes his way back to the nest as an adult only to find that his family is gone. It is due to that that Presto is burdened, “Birdened”, with feeling morally obligated to help other baby birds get back to their nests safe and sound.

Pivoting Pumpkin

This is an assignment that I did for my last coding class. The rule of this assignment was to make a game revolving around physics, so I decided to make a game where the player must roll a pumpkin throughout 5 levels to its missing stem. The player has to navigate through pivoting platforms, moving platforms, still platforms, and trampolines. If I were to add more to this game I would give the player the option to play as different gourds so that the physics of the game would be changed. I would also add more levels. I made the art for this game in Photoshop and programmed it in Unity.

Scramble Remake

This assignment from my second semester coding class was to make a game inspired by an arcade game, so I chose Scramble. The game gets more difficult as you go on. At first, the player just has to avoid the bullets being shot up from the rockets on the ground. The player can defeat these rockets by dropping bombs on them. Then, spaceships start to fly out from the right, and the player can defeat these by shooting bullets at them. Lastly, astroids begin to also fly out from the right. The player can’t defeat these, so they just have to avoid them. The game is over when the player loses all of their health. I made these models and programmed this game in Unity.
